Squamish Nation

EcoLogic Consultants Ltd. and Onsite Engineering are partnering with Squamish Nation to create initiatives that will provide mutual benefit and promote capacity-building through employment and training, profit sharing, and social investment. The Squamish Nation supports more than 300 entrepreneurs and a thriving business community that includes Squamish Nation business partners and Squamish Nation member-owned businesses.

Squamish Nation has developed the Xay Temixw (Sacred Land) Land Use Plan. This plan describes the community’s vision for the forest and wilderness of the traditional territory and sets out how to achieve its vision by protecting and managing the Nation’s land to benefit present and future generations.

EcoLogic is supporting the Xay Temixw Land Use Plan by providing training that leads to real employment opportunities and careers, including wetland and riparian assessment, mapping, GPS use, report writing, and technical skills such as surveying and structural assessment.


Falkirk Resource Consultants Ltd. is comprised of an accomplished team of senior professionals with decades of experience in all aspects of project permitting, regulatory matters, government affairs, environmental science, communications, public policy, and Aboriginal and Indigenous affairs in the resource sector. Falkirk has helped companies and organizations across Canada and in other jurisdictions globally to navigate their projects through complex permitting processes and political realities, successfully moving them into their next phase of development with understanding, alignment and strong support.

EcoLogic has partnered with Falkirk to jointly pursue opportunities to support environmentally and socially responsible mine development in BC, Canada, and the world. EcoLogic provides to Falkirk consultancy services in environmental assessment (including baseline data collection, effects assessment, and mitigation planning), environmental monitoring, and land use planning.

Falkirk and EcoLogic have partnered together on the Red Mountain Project in northern BC. Falkirk has provided senior management to guide the project through the regulatory system, while EcoLogic has provided baseline data collection, environmental assessment, and strategic planning services.
