Ecosystems are largely defined by their vegetation, and accurate plant identification is a critical element of any successful ecological project. Using current taxonomic approaches, EcoLogic’s expert botanists can provide plant specimen identification services for both vascular and non-vascular plants, and can work with clients to develop identification support materials to assist with field projects throughout British Columbia and western Canada. We also enjoy developing and hosting workshops and field courses that can help to build in-house identification capacity for future projects.
